Lush Scholarship Application Deadlines
May 1 2009: applications invited for academic year starting September 2010
A scholarship application form for Malagasy health professionals to study an MSc in public health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine starting in September 2010, can be obtained on this website or www.inspc.org. Scholarship application forms will also be available from Madagascar’s regional hospitals, district health posts, Provincial Health Officers, and university medical and science departments.
September 21st 2009: closing date for applications to be posted
Please send completed application forms and required documentation to:

NO applications posted and franked after August 10th will be considered.
October 1st 2009: LUSH to notify all applicants
LUSH will notify all applicants whether they have been successful in obtaining an interview.
October 6,7,8 2009: chosen applicants interviewed
Scholarship candidates will be interviewed by an eminent panel of senior Malagasy health professionals in Tana.
October 30 2009: interviewees to be notified of scholarship decision
Candidates will be notified of the panel’s decision in writing by letter or email.
December 1 2009: Successful scholars to start sending applications to LSHTM
All candidates who have been offered a scholarship by the LUSH committee will then formally apply for their chosen MSc course to the Admissions Department of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine at the beginning of December. The LSHTM application forms can be downloaded from www.lshtm.ac.uk and should be sent directly to the universityin London with all required additional information and references.
